Batching and Extrusion

Raw Material Selection: Primarily high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP), with approximately 2%-3% carbon black (for UV resistance) and antioxidants added.

Precision Punching

Process: After cooling, the thick sheet metal is punched with regular holes according to a preset arrangement (rectangular or square) using a precision punch press.

Longitudinal and Transverse Stretching

For unidirectional geogrids, longitudinal stretching essentially completes the entire production process at this step.
This longitudinal and transverse stretching step is only applicable to bidirectional geogrids.

Winding and Inspection (Heat Setting & Winding)

Perform physical property tests such as tensile strength and elongation. After passing the tests, roll and package the product into standard lengths (usually 50m or 100m).
